meeting to order at 7:30 pm

The agenda for the May 8,
2001 meeting was discussed. Tentative
agenda items:
- Brainstorm New Project Ideas- Ask members to vote on ideas raised at
November meeting. Indicate willingness
to help. Identify ‘point person’
for each major idea. New ideas
were mentioned. (see attached list
of ideas)
- Election of New Officers and Directors
- No new nominations were received
- Positions open, with nominations:
- Board- Lorraine Trosper
- President- Jessica Greenway (one more year
max)
- Vice President- Bruce Feuling (unless he is
moving. If so, several other
names were mentioned)
- Secretary- Don Samdahl
- Treasurer- Barbara Jones
- Suggested that past president stay on the board
for one more year during transition.
This is not in the bylaws, but received good support.
- Safe School Routes (Dierdre- Brian will call)
- Committee Reports
- NE 85th St - Summary of City Council
recommendations. Next steps.
Design review guidelines.
- N. Rose Hill Neighborhood Plan
- Transfer Station- Meeting on May 10

- Bridle-Rose Trail- located on powerline

- Comp Plan Update- comments received
3/24/01. 4/17 Council meeting; if
council agrees to consider amendments then meet with staff; 2003 next
update cycle- need to focus on 1-2 major issues; 2008 neighborhood plan
update.

9:00 pm. The next Board of Directors
meeting will be June 12, 2001.
