Neighborhood Picnic

The First Annual South Rose Hill/Bridle Trails Neighborhood Association picnic was held on Saturday, August 28, 2004.  It was a fantastic day~!  Sunny and warm, lots of neighbors turned out for games, dessert eating, the water balloon toss, face tattoos, snow cones, door prizes and our big raffle.  Local businesses contributed close to $900 in prizes and free giveaways for our picnic.  Another big hit was a visit by a City of Kirkland Fire Truck.  Our total turnout was around 100 neighbors, including visits from our very own mayor, Mary-Alyce Burleigh and City Council members Jessica Greenway, Dave Asher, and Tom Dillon.  We hope to see more of you next year as we grow and improve our picnic for next summer
