2026 Neighborhood Safety Program

Our project for bike lane striping on 132nd Ave NE at NE 70 Pl / Old Redmond Rd has been approved by the Kirkland City Council! It scored higher than our other idea, adding crosswalk striping across 124th Ave NE at NE 72nd St.

2025 Neighborhood Safety Projects Update

Our project for improving the gravel path on the east side of 132nd Ave NE between NE 66th St and NE 70th Pl (Old Redmond Road) has been approved by the Kirkland city council! 2025 projects will be posted for bids in 2026 for construction in 2027.

Deirdre Johnson is the current Board Member managing the Neighborhood Safety program (taking over from Kyle Sullivan who managed it between 2022 and 2026)
